Transcend

Transcend

A Poem by black.butterfly

Transcend

Transcend and triumph with desire.
No more belonging to this mire.
Eyes brimming with undying fire
and dreams of flying higher.

Desert every aggravating need;
those mouths to feed...
and implant the seed
of your liberation creed!

Fate is what you choose.
So, find your own muse.
Those who wait always lose,
grow old and face the blues.

Beautiful and quite inspiring! I real needed this. A nice uplifting read and refreshing. Rising above and beyond the darkness of this life to help others and make our dreams explode like fireworks. This is my thoughts on this. Will be added to my favorites.

I like it :) The language might be a bit too flowery--perhaps obscuring the message a little--but that's just my opinion.
