Love

A submission to the "Love...?" contest.

 Love is feeling

whole and transparent

no need for words

to connect and impart

 

Love is looking

unitedly in same directions

and averting a glance

when old secrets roar

 

Love is having

no grievous regrets

but the ones

that came before it

 

Love is understanding

uncommon obsessions

and seeking those

that are shared

 

Love is using

all of your senses

to taste the texture

of moments as they fleet

 

Love is shivering

under a sweet caress

holding on with iron grip

never wanting it to end

 

Love is searching

for words through time eternal

meanings powerful enough

to express an emotion so grand
