An article/column about the re-signing of Josh Donaldson.

"

Josh Donaldson signed a one-year extension with the Blue Jays on Friday.

I'm happy to announced that third baseman, Josh Donaldson isn't going anywhere.

No, the Toronto Blue Jays have re-signed Donaldson to a one-year, $23 million contract extension on Friday.

Despite being on the sidelines from April15-May 25 last year, Donaldson still managed to to have a .270 batting average, hit 33 home runs and have 78 RBIs in 113 games in 2017.

Donaldson was also named the American League's Most Valuable Player in 2015.

Donaldson has a .285 batting average, 111 home runs, and 300 RBIs over three years with Toronto.
