Love-Fade

Everything is different

Everything has changed

What used to be the norm

Will never be the same

I used to love you

I once saw love in your eyes

Now I don't hear from you

I find my love in the skies

Life is moving so fast

Time is passing me by

I've been trying to keep up

But the wind is stinging my eyes

I sit and I think

Some days, I even weep

But don't tell anyone

My secret you should keep

I hope I haven't ruined it for good

I hope I didn't go too far

Because what's the point of being in the sky

If you can't shine like a star

And what's the point of being in the spotlight

If you can't be looked upon as art

And what's the point of us continuing

When we could never really start
