Werewolves In Love

Werewolves In Love

A Poem by Eric Cox

In their magic soothed dreams since so long ago
they each saw the one they were destined to know
he came into her life one mystical night
and infected her with his moon caressed bite
she became as he, touched by lycanthropy
gifted with magic and immortality
under the spell of the ivory moon
the magical sight of a new wolf would bloom
two wolves together caressed by the moonlight
love would blossom within the star painted night
werewolves in love, the magic never over
children of the moon together forever.

This is truly a loving and heartfelt write...the picture only enhances what you already painted with your words. Your colorful, textured imagery was complimented nicely by your use of the metaphor....not too much...just right. This is worthy of saving...so that's what I am going to do....

This is both majestic and subtly haunting. Your flow of words is nearly flawless

A rich, enchanted write that takes us into the deepest places hidden under that ivory moon. You breathe life into the shadows.

A magical rather than dark or creepy or sappy.

That such two blood thirsty and flesh eating creatures can be romantic is cool. I enjoyed this tender poem.

Very sweet and very loving. We see here a moment of the positive nature/side of the werewolf. I sure enjoyed this.

A wonderful romantic write about two creatures one usually sees as evil and cruel. I really love this!
