the climb, the finding

the climb, the finding

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

the climb, the finding

i feel a snowy search

transmitting thoughts,

i hope he touches them

knows i am right there

at the bottom of his mountain,

looking up at his majestic peaks of wisdom

believing strongly that intelligence still lingers on his ground

and the whiteness that obscures it

is only temporary

if not in this life, maybe the next

there will be a melting,

and his spring will rise again.

An effort to reach someone close?--someone great or, at least, quite worthy.
Illness, perhaps, has (hopefully) temporarily put him beyond reach.
There is also the dream that full restoration will occur, here or There.
Old story; new pain.
Devastating piece!

Reminded me of a saying" There are many ways to climb a mountain but the view at the top remains the same". This ethereal write had a dementia tinge to this write. But I've been wrong many atimes having said that, a lovely write.

you have captured something so elusive in such an insightful way...

there is something quite ethereal about this piece, yet so tangible.

wonderfully done!

We can only climb. Each of us see, and spread a message, in our own way. The combination is the true nature.

He most assuredly touches your thoughts, transmits His message, and finds ground in your words. The beauty of this poem reaches those majestic peaks and beyond. Beautiful!

Nice shot. You capture the visions/thoughts/ideas/feelings & inner calls of ones in words that how it feels when ev'n it's seemed way "harder" to get success after having or "Savoring" too many fruitless days/themes of life. Very deep and thoughtful, as usual, write.
