fermenting in your interval

fermenting in your interval

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

fermenting in your interval

spill the hard cider over the edge

of my trembling tongue,

apple blossom kisses

you are my nectar

liquid eyes, my comfort

osculation, my drunken whim in dreams

as i undo the lid of you

and take a sip of

oblivion.

I miss all your work J
I dont know how i survived without it

this is so beautiful

She is like this sweet escape
Every part of you feels that with her you find it all

to want more

Gorgeous

Your description of the lascivious pleasures of fermented apples caused me to experience a premonitory moistening that overflowed my nether lip. (with inebriated apologies to Charles Lamb)
Oh! By the way J, I enjoyed the poem too

Describes wonderfully an alcoholic's love for their muse, longing for their lover's sweet kiss to intoxicated once more, also brought back memories of reading Cider with Rosie by Laurie Lee. Nice one J

The words and images are deliriously intoxicating, Jacob. Love and even lust could make us feel this way.

This is like an ode to a lover, from an alcoholic to his drink. There's an eroticism to it that makes it all the more easier to understand why so many find it so difficult to let go. Love within a bottle easily dilutes the soul, for a moment, for a night, then the drink must be drunk again. Very nice.

Expressive write. Vivid and clear images. The last line reads so good.

thank you for your kind words, Vanessa.
OH MY....the sensuality drips from every line of this one. Seductive, hinting at the erotic, and elegantly titillating! Lydi**

i can taste the liquer
And after a couple more sips that tremble goes away as you relax and slip away into your beautiful world.

Yep, I can feel it. Nicely done. Have a great day, young man.
