A lover abandoned, forgotten, flung into an open grave of anonymity.....such is the life of the poet, in both words and deeds.

Reminds me of the grave of Keats...."Here lies one whose name was writ in water." No name mentioned but words that live on forever. For us mere poetic mortals our loves and words do not share such a fate.

A profound Haiku, Jacob.

the heart is a graveyard of buried love(r)s. this is what comes to mind when i read this.
