dried art

dried art

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

dried art

artifacts,

exploration into the heart

disclosures of a mission to uncover serenity

the dig,

the digging her,

her digging me

the bones of love buried

the heart buried

reasonable exclusion

more digging

less finding

calculating location

it is remote

like chances of ever after

an anthropology of sorts

something almost human.

A deep dig.
Masterful use of metaphor to uncover new insights.
Like the old billiards wizard use to say, "Great stuff!"

In the dryness and deadness of bones and past reminants lies life of love undiscovered- digging deep but lying in surface where few see- wonderful words of wisdom- 🌹

Dried Art is an interesting title. When I think of the word dried, it conjures up something that has had all the life and juices sucked out of it.

it is remote
like chances of everafter

I am left thinking maybe it's time for the excavation to stop. You produce some stark imagery in your writing Jacob. Great read. I enjoyed the dig.
