A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

dedication to a love in syndication before it could air

accepted dalliance

is bribery to fail

a flirting eye encounters

a turning away

meant in alliance

for two to set sail

and hearts to reconnoiter

becomes a prelude gone astray

One that got away, a near miss I would say. A dalliance which didn't workout. That's what I am picking up here Jacob. Dalliance is such an interesting word, and yet it is hardly used these days. Brevity which tells a story. Not a happy one.

appreciate your visit and words,

Wow! Now that is an impressive title Jacob. Casual encounters can often lead to one party falling while the other keeps on keeping on. At least that is what I see in this masterclass of word sculpture.
