Sapphire Dreams

Sapphire Dreams

A Poem by Erin Lee

Sapphire Dreams

If only I could dream in color

I'd surly see:

The ruby blush of virgin cheeks

dance with the boy from geometry.

Her emerald cat's eye wink

as she waves back at me.

Dandelion yellow cheerfully

flirting in the meadows.

A blue jay spins to join the show

bowing with extended wing.

If only I could dream in color,

I'd dream in rainbows:

Sapphire dreams.

the flow of this poem is easily read and followed. The word are beautiful to describe a dream. I do dream in color.
