The Love of Friends

You were sad because they were sad

I asked what was wrong

And you said

'Some of my friends are sad. And one of them gave up on me.'

 

I became sad because I don't like it

When others mess with my friends

 

I just wish I could help

But I know that she can't be this way

She just can't be this way forever

 

Never do I want to hear that

Someone has hurt one of my friends

 

She felt like crying

She got depressed

 

I'm mad at those people

Who made her want to cry

She's like my sister

If you hurt her

I'll hurt YOU

 

It's not fair

The good people always get hurt

Things always get taken away from good people

 

The bad people take things from us

When we've done nothing wrong

I hate it when someone hurts another

 

I would even hate if my enemy got hurt

Strange but true

 

When you cry

I will cry

When you need a friend

I'll be there for you

When you need advice

I'll give it to you

When someone hurts you

I'll hurt them

 

'Cause I know

That you'd do the same for me

It's what best friends are for

 

When you cut yourself

I'll try to help you stop

When you laugh

I'll laugh

When you smile

My heart fills with joy

 

I love my friends

 

I will be there for you

I'll try to help you

 

But you at least have to try

To help me out too

 

I draw pictures for you

You sometimes like them

 

I like that you're honest

And you can keep any one of

The many secrets that I have

I like that you're willing to listen

When I tell you how I feel

 

I like how make me laugh

I love it when we hang out

We both have had rough times

But we always end up

The bestest of friends

Than we were before

 

I like how you tell me

How I changed

I like how you stay the same

I love how your stories are great

We might not have been talking lately

But you're still a great friend to me

 

We all laugh

We all play

We spend the whole day

Having fun, and hanging out

 

The most randomest moments happen

Only when I'm with you.

I loved the flow of the words. The love of friends in this poem just makes me cry. It's just like one of my best friends that just keeps me into their hearts. They have my back and I love them for dear life. It expresses the way you stand up for those best friends that will always be with you. I loved it! ;)

This was a good poem. It was really sweet and cute. I have a friend like that and she will always be there for me. I will always be there for her. I will always be there for my friends to.
