for Finley

for Finley

A Poem by Ethan Thompson
"

for Finley.

"

she laid there limp just like a fish then flew

into the sky, too late to say goodbye

had only i, if only i went too

have you ever heard the piggies squeal out of tune

in a row, thats good to know so have i

she laid there limp just like a fish then flew

away she went and with her took my youth

between her teeth, a babys meaty thigh

had only i, if only i went too

down that cold pit and through the inky blue,

the grinder grinds us, id be glad to die,

shed lay there limp just like a fish and fly

chuck the baby, lets hear it cry and do

the little piggies one at a pink time

had only i, if only i went too

with my Sister down through that inky blue

then we, baby, piggies, would pulpify

she would lay there limp like that fish that flew

but at least then, at least i would too.
