"Remember me for how I loved you"

"Remember me for how I loved you"

A Poem by Thepensiveplayer
"

When my time comes wherever you are, I'll be your night's star

"
"Its hard to accept roads coming to an end"
"especially when you planned more times to spend"
"All conclusions are unexpected"
"and your loved ones would'be certainly objected"

"Don't fret because we've grown together in many ways"
"up until the end of our days"
"I've left a mark for the next generation"
"to hopefully make us a better nation"

"I'm not gone for good"
"but at least I loved you as much as I could"
"I want you to know that you'll always be"
"what made life worth it for me"

SO very nicely written, I really enjoyed the flow and rhyme scheme of this.

Corey, this is a great message and an inspiration for purposeful living. It speaks to a higher calling but pays tribute and respect to the individual. Nice work.
