Its who you are and what that means to me

I know what's ahead isn't what you planned

but together we can make a strong stand

I came to share your pain

because I want to keep you sane

Its pointless to bicker between us

because together we'll make a great plus

I'm helping you for who you are

while you stare at me like I'm bizarre

Understand that your my friend

and that's worthy of respect to defend

The ending is perfect. I really like the stanza change with the lines as well. It makes it smooth and flow very well :)
