When we meet, we walked each other's path

Since that great day we met

we got stronger to handle our threats

as you grew in more ways than one

I couldn't fathom the rest of your life's run

We learned from each other all the time

while we face our goals through life's climb

Our interactions were never a waste

because we helped each other to a better place

Though our missions weren't sometimes clear

we pushed ourselves through the fear

After our prime we kept going

even while fatigue made its showing

but you reflected on your spiritual core

and what made you strive for more

Achieving your goals was an honor to see

because I'll always respect what you've grown to be

True friendships last doesn’t matter if you speak to them everyday or just a little, I love this piece and the story of friendship I sense perhaps a bit of grieving almost like they were and are gone could be wrong but I enjoyed it
