Schooling

Schooling

A Poem by Ewen A Morrison
"

Meeting and collecting our children from school is a delightful element in life!

"
Arriving, school gates, Bill's there too,
We're awaiting, exchanged few words;
Families waiting, meeting pupils, a few.
Children emerging --- then homewards!

Old-timers, and new-age schooling de see:
Childhood pleasures, education's embrace.
Blossoming education, for mind to be free,
Evolutionary souls... blessing Alba's race!

Children, future learning's truly enhanced:
Adults are citizens, politically 'sovereign'...
Parents thus bred, raised, and honestly led;
'We are the people': Alba/Scotland sustain!
