Life forever changed
Constantly afraid
Sleepless nights
Terror within come to life

Constantly watching
Seeing who is near
Forever living
A life of fear

Often smacked
And kicked around
Punched in the back
Face shoved in the ground

Three years of freedom
Yet still imprisoned
Seven years of abuse
Left a life sentence
