Man With Green Hair

Man With Green Hair

A Poem by Barbara Walker
"

Written about my friend on WC, Doc. This is a slightly different version than the first one I wrote some time ago.

"
I know a man, a funny writer is he,
he writes poems of a green haired man with such glee.
I love the man with green hair,
I love how his poems have color everywhere.
To hear his poems, I would walk a mile,
because they always make me smile.
I wish when I tell him what I think,
I could type it with letters that are bright pink!
But, there is no pink ink that I can use,
I can't even type in beautiful chartreuse.
Me,oh my, alas and alack,
all I can type with is black!

I love witnessing the love between fond writers on this website! You make your tribute stand out in a colorful way with childlike wonder. In my opinion, this world is often lacking warmth & affection, so I applaud you for using your poetic talent to spread it around freely & frolicky! (((HUGS)) Fondly, Margie

A fun write Barbara. Anyone who can make others smile is precious in my book. Not enough laughter and smiles these days. Your green haired man has my vote and I enjoyed your tribute.

I love this Barbara, upbeat and cheerful. Like the man with green hair. We should have more people like him, in this world. Putting more colour into a sad world in general.
