There once was a time
When social status didn’t matter
Where no one cared if you were wearing designer clothes

There once was a time
When death didn’t hurt so much
Where we foolishly thought they were just quietly sleeping

There once was a time
When no one judged you
Where no one tormented you until you couldn’t take it anymore

There once was a time
When we loved unconditionally
Where no one betrayed anyone

There once was a time
When life was so very simple

There once was a time…

Loved the 3rd stanza so much, there is so much truth in this.
