He said that he would be back and left a rose in my hands

Then he left only saying, "Keep your self safe"

There I stand in darkness waiting for him to return holding my red rose

Seconds, minutes, hours, days pass

Yet I still stand here alone in darkness

The day came when I felt my heart ache in my chest

My eyes went blank and so did my mind

I dropped the rose for my hands were bleeding

I dropped to my knees then on my face in pure darkness

My eyes started to close as my body continues to bleed

The last thing I saw....

Was the rose he gave me now black and poisonous

The rose's petals are no longer red with love

The petals are black.... the black rose of death
