A Poem by fattycbreezy52

{SPRING}🍀 🍀 🍀
Whizzing through my senses
The Colors of your ardour
Under the hues of the sky
My heart went dearer
Intoxicated by the fumes of lavenders
Purple with kindled passion
Our love grew younger & fonder.

{SUMMER} 🍸 🍸 🍸
Embracing the kittenish quality of the idiosyncratic
Sea to resuscitate the virgin, platinum body,
The denuded canvas was furnished
With its natural oil painting. Catnapped eyes,
Before the authoritative sun bantering thobe
Narcotic lips waiting to kiss the
Red-orange-dark-blue sunset
Upon the unconvincing boat spar.
Meanwhile, making love to a glass of
Fizzy lemonade and curving the body
To a music of newly found love.

{MONSOON} 🌂🌂 🌂
Tinkling drizzle move right down my spine
My feet sink deep amidst the damp sand
Longing to sway over & fill the chasm
As I tasted the love’s first secret
Just as the heaven’s wept in agony
Over our tale that came to an end.

{AUTUMN}🍁 🍁 🍁
No groping, no fumbling
As love-season moves a step ahead
Our love has ripened like the apples;
In conspiracy with the matured sun.
Amidst these glistening hues and
Pestilence-stricken, fallen leaves
I make love to you, my destiny,
Sipping your soulful water and quenching my thirst
Caring least about the dormant winter.

{WINTER}❄❄ ❄
Dormant love and hibernation
Took a toll on us as I dozed off to sleep
In that slumber, my beloved, you left me
Leaving me breathless in this gelid lake
Cutting my skin, ripping me into pieces
As we bid goodbye, our love will rise again
When skies will sing with heavenly whisper.

Okay so.There is a man who inspired me to create such a collaborative piece.Or,I can there was.I mean,John Keats! As a literature student,i have always been a fan of the young poet and the way he wrote as true romanticist about nature and its various aspects. The narcotic effect has been much emphasised in Keats' amazing odes like "To a nightingale" and "To autumn",So me and a friend decided to do something the Keatsian way.We have taken up all the seasons and love together. Now,its all upto you to interpret things your own way.No doubts, this poem cannot compare the Keatsian standard, after all,who would dare to challenge the young poet<3.Still,its a small attempt praising him for his romantic philosophy.

What's not to love? ...this is simply gorgeous! Your presentation is charming, right down to the little icons.

"In that slumber, my beloved, you left me
Leaving me breathless in this gelid lake"

I believe "winter" resonated with me the most, but I really enjoyed this impressive offering!

awwww, i love you too cutie pie!!
Well FCB I think you came close and definitely a wonderful tribute to Keats. This has lovely flavours to it and hints that mysterious bond between two lovers as you colour it with hues of the seasons.
