A clouded mist

Filled my sight

A distorted view

Of wrong and right.

I see now

How I was blind

To open myself

To what I might find.

A useless search

My heart led

If only the hurt

Now were dead.

So behind my guard

I will remain

Until closure comes -

Someday - maybe - Someday.
