I Am...Invisible

I Am...Invisible

A Poem by Sheila M

I am...

Invisible.

My world is confusion...

Hiding behind my iron wall...

I long to be touched.

Wanting and needing...

I pull away.

I yearn for affection...

I cannot find it.

My wall protects me.

I am ...

Invisible.

Damned if I do...

Damned if I dare not...

No happiness can live

Within my wall.

I am my own enemy.

I am...

Invisible.

Nice writing but Please dont be invisible. Visibility is a choice. Be seen. Be heard. Stand up and say "I AM".

Damned if I do... Damned if I dare not... A total summary of the poem in these two lines, which were my favorites. Well written, concise with strong emotions and to the point in few words.

This poem is perfect.

I feel it ... I relate to it ... and I know exactly how each line feels. The power in your words went straight to my heart. Invisible ... there's nothing worse than feeling this way.
