black hole

black hole

A Poem by felioness
"

loss...

"

in a winter land of cold cold space
i see a face
from far away
you left me on a sunny day

i still can't believe you're gone

i walk the line of misery
my tears and rage consuming me
you let me go but i'm far from free

inside i feel betrayed

there are dangerous places one should never tread
ruled by the demons of our sleepless dead
you play on rewind inside my head

i can't seem let you go

i walk this winter land of loss
where restless spirits turn and toss
an unskilled actor with a lousy role
waltzing on the edge of a black black hole

Thanks for the read and yeah you are right it was written for a melancholy vibe.
I can feel this poems meaning. I can relate. my friend and I broke up today :/
I sat back and asked myself "why could this happen to me"
I soon realized two things
one i had forgotten why i loved this man.
i knew i loved him and i always would.
I came to realized i need to get to know him once more.
two i need to go to college
he was the only thing keeping me in town.
although things may happen to us that hurt us there will always be a reason
even if we dont quite see it.

I can so feel this poem, the heartbreak and anger of a split, it leaves you in a place nothing exists. All consuming it is the only thing on your radar and even that exists no more. Really enjoyed this!
