Yellow feelings

Are joyful sentiments,

But the sun 

has already departed.

Emotions change

As colors transition--

Luscious green 

Into red-ish brown.

The autumn leaves

Fall one by one,

And yellow feelings

Depart with the sun.

I am worried 

I will lose interest

In all things 

important 

As my precious 

Yellow feelings

Depart with 

The sun.
