Predator

Magical. Predatory. Even the most beautiful creatures can be deadly.

Beneath the cool moonlight

You stand alone immersed with beauty

The light danced across your face

Revealing your eyes of molten amber

 

As the light strikes you once again

Flowing strands of red and gold shines

And as the sweet breeze comes

You raised your head to the heavens

And let out your cry

Casting fear upon your doomed prey

 

Swift as mercury you strike

Graceful as the Graces was your flight

As Helios rose you turn ablaze

Yet you still rose ready to go the distance.

Author's Note

This was originally published in my school pub entitled as "Predator" but I changed it since it was originally called Suzaku (phoenix) in the first place. But changed it back again...

wow awesome write. i enjoyed it - the way you described the creature was beautiful - the eyes , strands , all of it! ive always felt that predators are graceful and beautiful - just like sin - tempting and attractive :D
but i do feel that "predator" is a better title. :)
