It's all about taking a weekend away from everyday life; leaving your troubles, worries and responsibilities behind for a night or two. It can be really great for pulling a couple together or just providing that all-important one-on-one time that relationships are built on. How can you really make it a weekend to remember though?

Firstly, there's the obvious - don't take the kids! Yes, you love your children but this weekend is all about you two; no-one else. Ask a friend or family member to watch them for the weekend and if the kids kick up a fuss, make it an exciting event for them. That way, they'll be distracted throughout the weekend and not too hung up on missing you.

Secondly, make a pro-active decision not to take the iPads, laptops or any other devices that could distract you. It's probably prudent to take one phone between you, simply to ensure you are available should an emergency arise; however both taking your iPhones or other smartphones is probably not a good idea. It's just another way you can be distracted, when your focus should be on each other.

Next, be sure to pack a few surprises for your other half. Whether it's male sex toys, sexy lingerie or some champagne for her, take the time to put in some effort. It'll be greatly appreciated and n doubt rewarded by your other half in kind! You might even consider packing a dirty picnic basket - adding in some lubricant, c**k rings, a sexy movie and some other fun things.
