A Face Illuminated

A Face Illuminated

A Poem by Richard McLin

A man comes attempts to come to terms.

You lay there with the sun on your face.

Your hand in mine, I kiss your fingers.

I know you will soon wake in a better place.

Without Me

When I sit by you, I realize your scent still lingers.

I raise my hand, and caress your face .

Miss You

I then close your beautiful eyes, will never open again.
