To Heal The Broken

To Heal The Broken

A Poem by Fiona
"

Dedicated to anybody out there with all the people in their lives willing to help, but with no means to help themselves.

"

If yellow were happiness,

I would fill every night with sunshine,

So you would never stop feeling the warmth of the rays.

If yellow were happiness,

Your garden would hold nothing

But an abundance of daffodils,

To fill you with cheer.

And if blue were sadness,

I would shelter you,

From every tsunami

The ocean tries to surprise you with.

If blue were sadness,

I would steal it from the color wheel,

And every time that wheel tried to roll

I would be there giving it the extra push it needs,

Just so blue could disappear.

And if I could fix you with colors,

I would build the perfect rainbow.

I would never let yellow and blue go together

Because who knew

It could make such an unhappy combination,

And who knew

The two rights

Only made a wrong.

Unsure how I feel about this since it's the first time I've ever written in this type of style so any constructive criticism would be great.
