A Poem by James Paulin
"

Meaning

"

Simple

birth

breath and tears

hopes for life and fears

youth too quickly disappears

cakes and candles count the years

success and failures bring cheers and jeers

love freely given greatly endears

mastery earned in careers

children are mirrors

wisdom nears

rebirth

I like it. It got a bit awkward towards the middle, but it had a strong finish.
