Know Way

Know Way

A Poem by James Paulin

When it’s right or if it’s wrong,

you’ve been short or stayed too long,

made things worse or are in love,

comes hints within from above.

A small bell rings so you know

it’s time to change, stick or go.

Dead set, we might over think

or just ignore that heartfelt link.

This is really good. The entire poem feels like a scale, weighing back and forth between one thing or the other with each single line. I love that kind of flow and it fits this poem so perfectly. This poem expresses so much of the human mind and heart, how it is difficult for most of us to make a clear decision without doubt because we either think too much and lose the opportunity or we jump in without considering our odds. Well done.

is it conscience or something else? just feel like someone saying inside go for it, or saying no no no.. especially when you have to take a decision. and when you are overthinking, it's maddening! and it somehow helps :)
gr8 poem on a gr8 point :)

listening to your heart & to that gut instinct...we all over think
a bit too much. I blame that on hope, always lingering with what ifs,
and maybe i coulds? wonderful and thought provoking.
