Gorilla

Gorilla

A Poem by James Paulin
"

Cameo

"

Weather

absorbs ticks with talk.

Look away or dance or tip toe.

Distractions

camouflage self altered egos.

Monkeys thrive behind flowers.

Disrobe

Wow, this definitely made me giggle. The imagery... nicely done. It's so intriguing... my mind is still laughing at the monkeys and for some reason it feels like "Disrobe" is said in a sarcastic yet inviting or mocking voice... I'm not sure how to describe it, my imagination is weird. But this is a great poem. I really liked the alter ego. Well done.
