big cheese

big cheese

A Poem by fitz Roberts

What a taste .
a blandness of a sandwhich surely such a waste.
lacking its truly gooey center.
soon to be forgotten no point good to remember .
storebought it had been.
made at home and ate in the den.
no food allowed it was always deemed.
"no one was home "I smiled and I beamed.
still his sand which was empty like the love seat.
he smiled he leapt kicking up his feet.
sand which on chest he laid.
still his sand which lacked need of a parade .
finals game about to start.
terrible sand which across his heart.
than a voice from the kitchen sang its call.
it was then that he shrank smaller than small .
"big cheese, the king,oh ruler in there"
"your cheese is in here with a plate and silverware"

Even though this poem it extremely metaphorical it still painted a great picture. I love the imagery and its flow is flawless. Great write robby.

Lol, I could see an image in my mind. I bachelor's pad? I'm seeing beer cans and cheese sandwiches, feet propped up on the coffee table. Am I close?
I did a kinky food poem a while back:
