Lack of Lack

Lack of Lack

A Poem by flash

You never could see me

The way that you look

And the number of steps you insist that you took

Not in your vision

Your mind in a frame

And I'm sure to you all us look the same

I stare out to you

My eyes full of shame

And I continue to call again and again

Love

Rub

These things right here are better than blood

Cannot you see

The things I require

My need keeps burning as a funeral pyre

I still fail to see

That this where I be

I'm sure there are things that I'd like to see

But I refuse yet to move

'till I get what I want

And I keep using your space as my personal haunt

I understood that you said

You'd take care of me

And I will not shut up 'till you see me

I am your cat

Not a rat or a bat

My belly is hungry and that's where it's at
