homecomingA Poem by flashup to youthe blast the rush that overtook me seemed awash in things mistaken i could see those that stand before me shaking with admiration
the fear the guilt that was inside me was in tune with those that were before me and it seemed as though i knew what they tried to tell me contrary to all their reasons
their reasons seemed so clear to me stinging in my watery eyes the reason i should not be here
the fact the real that i am standing on this ground longing only for home it seems i must stick it all the way through
no matter what they think of me im sticking to my childhood lies and doing what i think they want me to
