DISTORTED WORLD

DISTORTED WORLD

A Poem by FlawedByDesign

DISTORTED WORLD

Where does he go,
in a world that has no end?
What happened to the people he once called friends?

Forsaken vagrant soul,
he wanders the crowded desert waste.
Disillusioned shadow in a world inspired by hate.

Like the antagonist in the story,
he’s cold and transparent as the night.
Belligerent pacifist eager to start a fight.

Besieged by occult faces,
his vindictive nature born out of frenzy.
Fallen angels left to find solace in agony.

Inconsequential he may be,
in a utopia overcome by the unkind.
Pain and suffering, the ties that bind.

No escape for the damned,
drowning in euphoria full of spite.
He joins the crusade to make things right.

Inert bane ignite!
Rise to fight the somber and the shade.
Adamant he stands, intrepid and unafraid.
