A gun to my head,
Keep by his side? I will die,
Move on? Death again.

Love the dualism here, Zoe.

What a choice! To stay or go, knowing that taking either path will lead to a death of some sort; either stay and risk a death at violent hands by an abusive person or leave and risk the death of the relationship. Very clever. And a perfect haiku form!
