Walk Out

Walk Out

A Poem by dancingintherain

Who asked you to come in?
No one did
So why did you come inside?
To break everything in here?
You didn't even knock
How dare you barge in without asking permission
You came in here and all you did was cause harm
Throwing things around and causing havoc

Please stop this madness and this insanity
And walk out
And don't dare come in here ever again
I'll get someone new to fix the things you tassled with
And someone to fix the door you broke down
Walk out
And don't even come close to my door again

I like that you used a full metaphor standing on its own for this rather than copping out and saying "it's a relationship" and blah blah. Great imagery, though I'd like to see it expanded upon and making the metaphor more complex. I think you have a real opportunity to work with some layers here and add a great deal of depth.
