All Messed Up

I’m crying pools of blood

I’m a wilting, dying flower

I think I simply lost your love

I gave you all the power

 

The cherries just aren’t red anymore

They fade from red to grey

The stems are badly broken

It’s sad to see them fade

 

I clenched my eyes so tightly

It sent me in a daze

My dreams are all so frightening

I can’t see in this haze

 

I screamed out loud

But it stayed so very silent

I remember us from then to now

It really seems so violent

 

I know you’re thinking random thoughts

Of how you’re not content

You’ve ripped my insides all apart

You fucked me then you went

this led to think how a broken heart - torn someone apart and simply wilting, almost dying... but in every broken heart it will bring new light upon your new love. very nice piece.

Yes, if were lucky then will take something that will be useful to us in the futuer - although, sometimes I wonder if I do or not!

sometimes we just give ourselves completely to someone else and they drain us of emotion...
they tear us apart because we let them...and we question, "what went wrong?"
and most of the time, it is on the other end, not anything we really did.

thanks for the review. I have been on both sides of this drama. You're right though, sometimes we didn't do anything wrong and we're just left with confusion
