Cassidy

A Poem by audrie

Wobbly knees
learning to walk
touched all that she sees
dances only to rock

curly hair
existing without a care
big brown eyes
love you so incredibly much
I can hardly bare

displaying so much feelings of joy
so very excited when you get a new toy

dressed you only in dresses
cleaned all of your messes
love to hold you
gave you soft caresses

I want to tell you how much  i love you
I love you immensely
and all that you do

I had an immense feeling of playful jealousy toward the child due to envying the life they must be growing up with as such as talented & creative mother as yourself audrie! Dont ever let go of that! Excellent verse

Thank you! = ]
What a wonderful ode to your daughter I am assuming. Parenthood is one of the greatest gifts from god along with marriage and following grandparenthood. I have been blessed to relive raising my son through rearing my grandson Karson who is so much like his Uncle Jake (he's my daughter Jessica's son). I want to share a poem I wrote when my daughter and I were estranged called Chalk Rainbows.

Heya - just realized that you left this review. Nobody can understand the love you feel for a child .. read more
Awwwww. A mother's love. Ain't nothin' that comes close.
Except maybe a father's. :)

But it's a different bond.
Really like this.
