Resistance Is Not Futile

Resistance Is Not Futile

A Poem by franzesty

When people tell you it's 'not your fight',
How dare they tell you,
What is worth it to make you shake with fury,
Quail and quake with an anger that
Bursts!
From your chest.

Fight whatever fight which makes you fear for liberty,
As I cannot stay quiet when I know that there are people, burdened with a burden,
I cannot even begin to comprehend,
I will not stay silent.

yes, people can say "mind your own business" but when the businesses intersect...we cannot keep quiet...and sometimes it many not necessarily be our fight...but if it affects someone very close to us...yes, it is our fight.
