Hear the voices when they whisper,

While the world is going on.

Let these horrors fill your head,

As they sing their morbid songs.

 

It doesn’t matter if you scream,

The truth will never set you free.

 

It’s the shadows in the corner,

It’s the darkness on your face.

Hidden in your desires,

Until desires start to fade.

 

The master holds the strings,

To keep the fears believable.

But if you’re not afraid,

Paranoia isn’t evil.

 

It doesn’t matter if you scream,

The truth will never set you free.

 

Fearless is a dream,

That we can only hope.

Control is the alternative,

Hanging on to the ropes.

 

When you look over your shoulder,

The fear clouding in your eyes.

It’s the pain when people leave you,

As the demons break the ties.

 

It doesn’t matter if you scream,

All the doubts that fill your mind,

“Am I just a waste of time?”

When you live your life to hide,

Your life is just a lie.

 

And in the end,

It isn’t fate,
