A Poem by freelancejouster

long day
full of frustrations
and crowded with faces
i don't much mind knowing
when i don't have
to interact with them
for long.

crawl into bed,
miserable
and shielded by
my own little thundercloud.

i'd feel so alone
if it weren't
for those strong arms
that encircled me
and the voice that softly mumbled to me
telling me that everything
will be okay.

amen! If it weren't for my lady, I'd probably be in jail or worse. She takes away the pain of being sober and vigilant in a b*****d world!

really like this one.

cheers!
