Crazy Like Me

Crazy Like Me

A Poem by Frieda P

Gypsy in my soul, mother in my heart
                                                    ...poet in my mind
tiny dancer,
dancing to the rhythm of your words,
sweet music of pen prancing on paper
                                                               we crash into each other
purging all our happiness and woes
... for all the world to see
I think you're a little bit crazy, just like me....

I so agree tabbycat, thanks for the visit and review.
I believe most of us are a little crazy. I like your style of crazy. It's much better than some others I've seen... and danced with to the music.

Yes degrees can vary, thanks Michael....
Wow, the first line could be something I wrote... well, substituting Father for Mother... I love how you pack meaning in to a succinct write. Very well done.

I see you can relate SM! Thanks so much. ;-)
Short but sweet. Even without the visuals, I could clearly see two dancers represented in this writing. Much liked!

If you want to know me, read my poetry, it's all in there. I am a mother of three sons (my finest moments) a sister, a survivor and a little bit crazy. I lost my beloved sister to suicide, so you'll.. more..
