~In This Moment...

~In This Moment...

A Poem by Frieda P
"

Inspired by another lovely piece of *Star's artwork.

"
I breathe, my world expands in this moment
most days I find myself in utter puzzlement
of broken pieces that hardly fit the scene
the beauty that surrounds me is vastly
                   different from my view,
poppies can twist to opium seeds in turn
A sheer moment in time I realize there's beauty,
that is every single thing we do and see
I hear the dance in so many different styles
even pain is a study in it's own mysterious way
I breathe in this precious moment of clarity,
hopeful to revisit it some dark & dismal day

This piece was like reading several of my poems all in one. Each line touched on a subject that I've written about and worded similarly.
Very nice.

Wow. Very impressive. I feel like I'm staring at a painting of Picasso or Rembrandt, just in poetic form. I really liked this.

I love this Frieda... and this line totally describes how I feel lately.. "broken pieces that hardly fit"

Thank you ... huggs, shallimarRose

I like the realization that two opposite things can coexist within the same mindframe, despite the fact they contradict each other and actively try to cancel each other out. Two ideas living in harmony with each other, or maybe even two people, must truly be the moment when idealization is its highest. I enjoyed the thought I got from this one, well done.

A beautiful poem.
"A sheer moment in time I realize there's beauty,
that is every single thing we do and see"
I always enjoy your word. Thank you for the amazing poetry.

In pain? How about some milk of the poppy? Some interesting perspectives, and an uplifting realization about life that even when it's filled with pain there is still a measure of appreciation that can be had for it.
