Darkly blackbird never chirped

caged for all eternity

rhythm an elusive spirit

sun shined upon her soul

she had found the secret key

to escape gloomy shadows

opened her clouded eyes

discovered her vibrant voice

unlocked her tortured heart

in sweet love notes

flew upon the resplendent skies

singing in hopeful harmony

I love this line - "sun shined upon her soul, she had found the secret key" - such an uplifting line in a poem of beauty and inspiration.
