~Buttermilk Skies~

~Buttermilk Skies~

A Poem by Frieda P

I loved you blithely through reverie's eyes
floating like  elusory feathers through my mind
i crashed into you whilst on a stargazing  cloud
you took my breath away with billowing vibrancy
locked in my caged illusion,  you sang like an angel
never wanted to peek the darkly light of day,
moonstruck delerium fancied  enchanted music,
dancing upon phantasy of pipe dreams
i breathe heavily of infused ether's essence
with hopes for musings of fool's heaven,
never to drift from this castle in the air
soul's glinting on serendipitous meditations
of buttermilk skies and apricot diamonds

Oh wow, Frifri - This is absolutely divine. I adore the title and the picture. This is clear that it comes from within your heart as all your writes do. You have written this so eloquently with amazing imagery and wording. This write left me stunned, and at a loss for words, and you know that doesn't happen very much!

-- Wow, wow, wow!!! How amazing are you? Freaking amazing I say.

Flip flops and all that jazz, Mama F. xoxo

Crushing hard and wrapped in delight, the possibilities are endless of things to come, what might? These things are expressed in delightful metaphor and alliteration Frieda.

the glow of insincere love is still a glow - like that in a snake's eye. Love the use of color in this one. You do that so well.

Your buttermilk skies and apricot diamonds are perfectly heavenly. You are the mistress of romance my friend.

i crashed into you whilst on a stargazing cloud
I never thought I'd see myself write this - What a wonderful vehicular impact!
A veritable pile-up of sensuality...

Love your review Mark, thanks so much...
Well, as you may know, I'm not the best reviewer, but I always love your poems like this. I had forgotten that you wrote fantasy-like stories and poems after seeing so many erotic ones. Not too big a fan of those, but that doesn't mean that I don't appreciate your artwork of them. This poem is one that I really love. I love how you describe things, I always get a very good scenery in your writings.

Haha Michael, I just throw the erotica in for good measure, thanks muchly.....
I was just talking with Horizon about endings...
This ending is spectacular. The poem is resolved beyond expectation and to a high satisfaction.
It was a joy to read.
