Blue Hydrangea Pondering

Blue Hydrangea Pondering

A Poem by Frieda P

               ...I was just thinking,
                     not a day goes by
                without daydreaming,
         wondering what we'd be doing
     if you were here
          right in this moment
  I know you'd be asking
to borrow my shoes no doubt
I'd say 'no way jose',
you still haven't returned the last pair
I ponder the thought,
where are those shoes by the way,
dancing on air castle's cloud flluffer
                high & feverish with memories
I pause to glimpse the blue hydrangea skies,
                                         & I knowingly smile

This is such a b e a u t i f u l memory, Frieda ~~ Your sister is gorgeous, just like you. And that picture is a complete stunner! You're both stunners, and I like your shoes, too, LOL! If they're heels I'm stealing them.

You know, I feel like I know Lee, and I can tell you from all your writes that you were very close. It's lovely that you keep her alive with all your wonderful heartfelt writes.

" I know you'd be asking

~~ Sounds a bit like me when I 'steal' my Gran's things, aha. Lovely Frieda. x

Oh this is one of those times I wish I could leave a review in code. Because I just cant articulate - the beauty of the poem - the gentle peace about it, and the ache of what is behind it.

Good idea Rita, you should do that, do both.....
Perfect title Frieda! I love the softness of thoughts in this poem, and I smiled at the part where you are wondering where that last pair of shoes are. Your poem is sad and very poignant and you gift to someone you cherish is written with style and elegance.
This made me sigh deeply as it infiltrated all my senses and emotions.
Thank you for sharing your talent!
