[Exposing] Love

[Exposing] Love

A Poem by Frieda P
"

'translation in the code of love' ~A collaboration~ Jack & Frieda

"

Moon glow confetti and tea leaf decisions

Skywriting written in ginger stardust
Creamsicle cosmos a' swirl of affection
Burnished songbirds sing in the key of destiny

Low hanging fruit drips of endless day nectar

   Drizzling sweet messages of serendipity

Drenching your lips, your taste effervescent

Lingering on a relish'd brink of aromatic happenstance

Longing grips this heart in desired definitions

Words defined in Braille still undecipherable

Blinded by your essence, my fingers search the meaning

Kismet speaks the language of secrets little known or (unexposed)

In a whispered voice that only love could translate

The language of love is both beautiful and powerful. You two have interwoven your voices in perfect harmony in this piece and your imagery is sumptuous:

Creamsicle cosmos a' swirl of affection
Burnished songbirds sing in the key of destiny

Low hanging fruit drips of endless day nectar
Drizzling sweet messages of serendipity

hi guys, great job!

writing a poem in collaboration is like playing remote-chess? because to create such an intensive and harmonious poem i picture both of you must have been in a semi-dark room with a lit candle, rose fragrance around, quiet background music and campaign-tasting kisses for hours.

Love manifests and appears in many different forms, but its power is universally omnipotent and all encompassing !

A collaboration that even Eros and Venus combined would find hard to better !

Of course I do, you're my sweet friend. :-)
I can feel the power of love which overpowers everything, If it is about the code of love, I am afraid it is not the key. love can change everything, can trabslate every language, wheather rude, upset, acrid, acerbic, foolish, warmth, kind....but still there are things love will numb its senses, and bang its doors. and close its windows shut in prescence of them. like Reality, humanity, mind.....Love terrors and appals these, fear to beat them and cann't endure them. all in aal it was a great, but the theme was delivered bad. thank you.

Thanks so much my friend.
love the whol braille thing here..the idea of feeling the words rather than just hearing them...the idea of the poet becoming part of the cosmos...not just existing and then dying, turning to dust....we hope we are more than that.

nicely done, Frieda.

Woo, I always love to see a collaboration from you both. My two ultimate favourite people on this site come together as one and create something as magical as this....

Biologically, love is a powerful neurological condition like hunger or thirst, only more permanent. We talk about love being blind or unconditional, in the sense that we have no control over it. But then, that is not so surprising since love is basically chemistry.

"Low hanging fruit drips of endless day nectar
Drizzling sweet messages of serendipity

Lingering on a relish'd brink of aromatic happenstance"

I loved this, sometimes it does take a lot of searching so we gotta do what we gotta do, aha. Lovely you guys, keep them coming.
